Bellamkonda Sreenivas Reunites With VV Vinayak For Bollywood Debut
It was earlier reported that Bellamkonda Sreenivas is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of the Tollywood hit film, Chatrapathi. We all know that the original movie was a huge hit when it hit the theatres in 2005, starring Prabhas and helmed by SS Rajamouli.
The movie is still known as one of the best movies in Prabhas’ career even today. Now, Bellamkonda is all set for his Bollywood debut by playing the character of Sivaji, a Sri Lankan refugee who rises up to be a savior of the masses. Pen Studios directed by Dr Jayantilal Gada is producing this project.
For the remake, the actor is reuniting with VV Vinayak, the director of his debut film Alludu Seenu, he has given his nod to the project because the role gives him enough scope to perform and talking about this project, he said, “This is one of the perfect project and it is a great opportunity to collaborate with his first director, VV Vinayak again. Although, taking on a role that Prabhas did is a big responsibility, but I am glad I did, as it’s a perfect plot.”
Bellamkonda is currently shooting for the film Alludu Adhurs with Anu Emmanuel and Nabha Natesh as lead actress in Hyderabad. Further details of cast and crew for the remake are still awaited.
