Positive Points:
Performance of lead roles
Screenplay
Negative Points:
Few unnecessary sequences
Flashback scene
Performance: Ram Pothineni in the roles of Aditya and Siddharth rocked his performance, which is totally different in mannerisms and body language. The actor pulls off both roles with ease and has worked hard to show us the differences between both the roles- Aditya and Siddharth. Pavitra Lokesh who is essaying the role of a con woman character is good. Nivetha Pethuraj as the smart police officer too stands out. The rest of the cast of the film performs well as per their roles.
Technical Aspect:
The film has a gripping screenplay and it also has all the trappings of a good murder mystery. The Director Kishore Tirumala not only selected his lead characters right but also etches a solid character for the female cop Yamini as Nivetha Pethuraj in an attractive performance. He does miss a trick, though by giving the audience weekly written female lead Malvika Sharma and songs that seem to have been put together in hurry. Editing and music are ok. The cinematograph is noteworthy. The BGM by Mani Sharma fits the intense mood of the movie.
Overall Analysis: RED is a taut thriller that keeps the film lovers engaged till the very end.
