Popular Comedian Vivek Passed Away
Popular Tamil comedian Vivek has passed away in Chennai, he took his last breath on today morning. It was earlier reported that he suffered a cardiac arrest and now as per the latest update, he has passed away.
Vivek was 59 and has performed in more than 220 movies, died following a cardiac arrest at morning 4.35 am today (on Saturday). According to the expert’s report, he had a 100 percent blockage in the LAD (left anterior descending artery) vessel which has led to a massive cardiac arrest.
On Friday, Tamil Nadu Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan said that the cause of the cardiac arrest was unlikely to be vaccine of COVID-19 that he had taken on Thursday. He received the vaccine first dose on Thursday and was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a heart stroke. His health got worsen and was unconscious by the time he was being treated.
He entered Kollywood industry because of K Balachander. The actor is known for his comic roles in the films such as Kushi, Minnale, Dum Dum Dum, Alaipayuthey, Mugavaree, Sivaji and many other films. Vivek has acted with many generations, from Kamal Haasan to Madhavan, Ajith Kumar and Vijay and also received several awards for his performances such as Tamil Nadu State Awards and Filmfare.
