No Shave November: Dear Men, Put down your Razors Now!
Just now the Halloween is going to end and again now, it is all about “No Shave November”. A month-long journey which is really worth and creates awareness about cancer.
If you are new to this, No Shave November is a programme by Matthew Hill foundation to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose. You have to do it by letting your hair grow wild and free and then donate the money you spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention and saving lives.
All this is for a good cause.
According to Matthew hill foundation, participants are encouraged to strike up a conversation about cancer when asked about their great facial hair.
The Hill Foundation’s namesake is a father of eight who had passed away from colon cancer in November 2007. Then they began using the No-Shave November tradition to raise money in 2009 to save all cancer patients and create awareness to others to prevent themselves from cancer.
This year, the Hill Foundation is partnering with the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Fight Colorectal Cancer and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
If you have strict rules at your office and they won’t allow you without shaving or grooming, do it, we will allow any kind of donation, the Hill foundation said.
You can also take a selfie and send it to your friends and encourage them to do the same and create awareness – it helps!
