Manikarnika in Doubts of Delaying
Manikarnika movie producer was trolled last year for trying to spread rumors similar to Padmavat, which were later disgraced as publicity stunts.
While the bluff was called off by the people as soon as they surfaced given that the movie Padmavat and its stunt got out of control, the Kangana Ranaut starrer is again in the talks about the delay that everyone is sure of.
Manikarnika movie is based on the life of Jhansi’s Queen, Rani Lakshmibai and her struggles. The movie portrays Kangana as Rani Lakshmibai and is going to be a mega-budget movie with historical sets and beautiful costly outlook. The grandeur of the movie will be compared to Padmavat which had beautiful sets and music.
The movie is claimed to be released on 25 of January 2019. However, certain whispers around in the air suggests otherwise.
One of the actors told this writer, “There’s a whole lot of work still pending. The post-production and the special effects are far from done.
There are big epic-scaled battle sequences which require a lot of CGs (computer graphics). Also, Kangana insisted on re-shooting some of battle sequences after she took over the direction.
This proved costly and time-consuming, as the shooting and special affects had to be done again. So I don’t know if the film will make it (on schedule).”
While similar rumors are in the air for the other republic day release, Super 30, it looks like it would not just be the audience that both the movies will be competing for, but also for the time of release.
