Fugitive businessman Nirav Modi roams in London with his 9 Lakh 'Ostrich Hide' jacket
Indian fugitive Nirav Modi was spotted in London roaming on the streets and wearing an expensive jacket which as per UK's telegraph who shared his video was of the brand 'Ostrich Hide' costing around 10,000 pounds (9 lakh Rs.).
Nirav Modi accused of multiple frauds was seen neglecting all the questions asked to him by a journalist saying 'No Comments' to all. Despite being accused of defrauding the state-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) with over Rs 13,700 crore, Nirav Modi lives a lavish life in a property worth over 8 million pounds (over Rs 72 crore) near Oxford Street in London's West End.
UK based Telegraph had made revelations of Nirav Modi's whereabouts and has also mentioned that he has been given a Nation Insurance Number, which allows him to do business in the UK. The UK's Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) had informed India in June 2018 that it will initiate extradition proceedings against Nirav Modi, but no action has been taken so far.
