Anand Deverakonda Distributes 6000 Dictionaries
Anand Deverakonda, younger brother of Vijay Deverakonda,
Yesterday, on the eve of Republic Day, this hero has distributed 6000+ dictionaries to government school children on behalf of Deverakonda foundation. “Had the privilege, on behalf of Deverakonda foundation, to provide 6000+ dictionaries to Government school children from the Medchal - Malkajgiri district. Thanking the Collector (MV Reddy) and district officials for letting our team do this. A Very Happy Republic Day!!!” Anand Devarakonda tweeted.
Anand has received Telugu 2020 Best Debut–Male in Zee Cine Awards for his debut film Dorasani. He is also vocal on social media and speaks about many things. He also supported his brother Vijay Deverakonda when the National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW) along with other women protested against his film Arjun Reddy, complaining that it was derogatory to women.
“Cut the shackles of a woman's leg, don't chop a man's head off". It's commendable when people voice their opinion in public, even more, if it's for a good cause. But any commentary or review on misogyny in Arjun Reddy is absurd/ridiculous,” he said earlier.
