T20 World Cup: India will face England in semifinal after beating Zimbabwe
India will face England in the semifinals of the T20 World Cup after thrashing Zimbabwe by 71 runs on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The Indian bowlers bowled Zimbabwe out for 115 in 17.2 overs with Rahul's 35-ball 51 and Suryakumar Yadav's 61 not out in posting a mammoth 186/5.
India finished first in Group 2 and will play England in the 2nd semifinal at Adelaide on November 10, while Pakistan will play New Zealand in the first semifinal.
India's defense started well as Wesley Madhevere was caught by a diving short cover on a swinging-away delivery from Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
