As per the latest update, PV Sindhu beats He Bing Jiao and won the Bronze medal at ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020. Sindhu became the first Indian woman to win two individual medals at the Olympics and scripted history on Sunday and is the fourth woman shuttler to win a medal in back-to-back Olympics. Sindhu beat He Bingjiao of China 21-13, 21-15 in 53 minutes and won the Bronze medal.
Sindhu was clinical throughout the contest and didn't give her opponent any chance to win the match. She had suffered a heart-breaking loss to world no.1 Tai Tzu Ying in the semi-final Yesterday and lost the semi-final 18-21, 12-21.
