India vs New Zealand 2nd ODI Match
The second game of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand will be played on Saturday at Eden Park, Auckland. After a crushing defeat by New Zealand in the first ODI, India needs to win this crucial match to stay alive in the competition.
Rohit Sharma was ruled out from the ODI squad due to an injury. His absence already gave a bit of trouble to the Indian team in the first match. On the other hand, New Zealand performed well even in the absence of their captain Kane Williamson.
After the first match, Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, one of the experts for broadcasters Star Sports, suggested a big change in the Indian playing XI for the second ODI in Auckland. According to him, India should include Yuzvendra Chahal in the playing XI along with Kuldeep Yadav. Both the spinners haven’t played together for India since the 2019 World Cup group game against England in May.
Auckland evening will witness a clear sky with 70-80 percent humidity. There are absolutely no chances of rain and players will enjoy a cool and windy evening at Eden Park.
Fast bowlers will find good help, especially in the second half. One can expect the fast bowlers to come to the party even more. Batsmen will enjoy their time out at the crease and the match could even cross the aggregated score which was registered in the first ODI.
