India Wins the Asia Cup

The Asia Cup trophy has been in the possession of team India for a while now after the men in blue defeated Sri Lanka in the final earlier today.

Except for the shocking loss to Bangladesh in the super 4s championship game, India was virtually unbeatable in the tournament this year. Despite choosing to bat in the final, Sri Lanka could not even come close to matching the skills of team India, scoring only 50 runs in the opening innings.

One of the lowest first innings scores in ODI history for any team was recorded here. Then, with Gill and Ishan Kishan coming out firing, India quickly pursued the objective.
