Telangana Is Getting Ready For The Municipal Elections
Now, as all the hurdles have been cleared and even High Court has given the green signal, Telangana is getting ready for the municipal elections. The state government is preparing to conduct the elections this coming January.
As assembly budget meetings are set to be held, Telangana CM KCR is interested in conducting the municipal elections. He is planning to divide wards and later, the election commission will release the final list of voters.
Previously, even in the heat of TSRTC, TRS witnessed a massive victory in the Huzur Nagar by-elections. So the ruling party is having the hope of repeating the victory even in the municipal elections.
On the other hand, the opposition parties, especially Congress, are confident about their winning chances, predicting that the alleged dictatorship of KCR towards TSRTC workers has created a huge amount of negativity among the citizens.
Adding to it, the Congress party is hoping that the TSRTC workers and their families across the state would teach a good lesson to the ruling party by ignoring TRS in the coming elections. It remains to be seen, whose aspirations are going to come true.
