KTR To Inaugurate IT Tower In Karimnagar
State Planning Commission, deputy chairman, and former MP B Vinod Kumar announced that IT and Municipal Administration Minister, KT Rama Rao will inaugurate IT Tower at Karimnagar on February 18.
New IT Tower will boost the business, economy, and revenue in North Telangana and it will be the first IT tower, which will start with the highest of 30 to 40 percent employee occupancy ratio, 300 to 400 employees will work at the time of inauguration.
Around 3,000 employees may work in the tower. Apart from the space for the companies, the remaining space will be used as a common area.
All this is only possible because of K Chandrasekhar Rao’s concern and affection towards Karimnagar. Though it was scheduled to open on January 30, it was postponed due to municipal elections but the date has been final now. 26 companies approached the government as of now to set up their units in the IT Tower and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered with 12 companies and space was allocated to 15 companies.
It was recalled that IT Minister KT Rama Rao laid the foundation stone for the construction of IT Tower in 2018 and sanctioned Rs 25 crore. Karimnagar tower will start with a 60 percent occupancy ratio.
