Arvind Kejriwal says Supreme Court did injustice to New Delhi
Arvind Kejriwal chief minister of Delhi expressed his condemn with the supreme court verdict as it was mainly favourable to the Lieutenant Governor. Addressing at a conference after the court hearing, he alleged that BJP led central government is causing hurdles for AAP dispensation The judgment is against constitution and democracy. We will seek legal remedies, mentioned Kejriwal.
He also added If a government can't even transfer its officers, how is it supposed to function? The party that has 67 seats doesn’t have the rights but the party who won 3 seats has got those rights. This is what injustice to Delhi people.
For this, AAP leader asked the people of Delhi to come out and vote for AAP on all seven seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Supreme court gave the government power to decide the rated of the agricultural land, but the power to order an inquiry commission lies with the centre, not the Delhi government and quoted that ACB comes under the control of the centre and not Delhi government. In its verdict, the SC said that the electricity government, revenue government, posting & transfer of grade 3 & 4 officers will come under Delhi government but in a case of a difference of opinion, Lieutenant governor view will prevail.
