Two Popular Actresses Pair Up For A Korean Remake
The two popular actresses of South Indian Film Industry Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra will join their hands for an upcoming untitled movie, which is a remake of a Korean action-comedy drama, Midnight Runners. Sudheer Varma is on the board to direct this Korean remake.
Sudheer Varma’s previous film was
Suresh Babu and Sunita Tati, who had earlier produced Samantha and Naga Shourya starrer Oh Baby!, will jointly bankroll this remake. Both the actress will be seen portraying the role of a cop. Very soon the official statement will be made regarding this remake.
The Korean film is an action-comedy, directed by Jason Kim. It starred, Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul in the lead roles. The film is all about the story of Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul, who witness a kidnapping on their way back from the club, at around midnight.
They decide to examine this case. When the leads catch up with the kidnappers, it looks like a gang is running an unfertilized egg harvesting ring and there are many more girls locked up. Both heroes try to save them.
On the other hand, recently, Regina has signed a crime thriller film, and Nivetha Thomas is enjoying the success of her recent offering Darbar, starring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is running successfully at the box office.
