Thippara Meesam Review – Good Story & Slow Narration!
Sree Vishnu’s Thippara Meesam has created a great buzz after hero uttering some interesting dialogues and appearing in a unique look in the trailer. Let’s see if the film stands all buzz or not!
Cast: Sree Vishnu, Nikki Tamboli, Sreekanth, Rohini
Director: Krishna Vijay
Thippara Meesam Story:
Mani (Sree Vishnu) is a DJ and he hates his mother (Rohini) very much. He demands money from her often and once he demands Rs 40 lakhs from her for which she fails to give. Sree Vishnu with all anger files a case on his mother. Why he hates his mother? Will, he wins the case? forms the rest of the story.
Thippara Meesam Review:
Sree Vishnu, as usual, played well. It is known that Sree Vishnu will choose different roles and will do justice to them. Like in any other film, he pulled off his role with ease. He as a person with all the bad habits and a flashback performed very well. Rohini, who played Vishnu’s mother did so well. She has no many dialogues but with her expressions, she made the audience feel emotional. The last 20 minutes emotional episode is the highlight of the film. Banerjee is good in his role.
The direction is good but the narration is dull. The audience will only understand ‘why it is happening’ after 2 hours of the film. The first half is saggy and the director added unnecessary crime scenes that deviate the audience from the original story. Production values are decent. Camera work is good but editing could have been much better. Music is okay.
What’s Plus?
Performance of Sree Vishnu and Rohini
Production values
Story
What’s Okay?
Music
Cinema work
What’s Bad?
Narration
Verdict: The director takes forever to make things understandable. If you have enough patience to watch the saggy first half, you can enjoy the climax things. If there is no better option, you can give ‘Thippara Meesam’ a watch!
