Telugu Actor Raavi Kondala Rao Passed Away
Telugu veteran actor Raavi Kondala Rao who was also a writer, director, and producer passed away on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest. The actor was taking treatment in a private hospital in Hyderabad. He breathed his last yesterday. The Telugu Film Industry is in grief because of his demise. He survived by his son, after his wife passing away in 2012.
He acted in more than 600 films and his wife Radha Kumari also acted in more than 300 films. They together acted in 150 films. Ramudu Bhimudu, Tene Manasulu, Pelli Pustakam, Brundavanam, Madam, Bhairava Dweepam, Radha Gopalam, Mee Sreyobhilashi, King, Oye, and Varudu are some of the films in which he played a key role.
Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Srinu Vaitla, Rajeev Kanakala and others paid their condolences. “Deeply saddened by the demise of the extremely talented actor and writer Sri Raavi Kondala Rao garu. I’m a big fan of his natural acting and always admired his smile and I’m fortunate to have worked with him in King, condolences to his family and loved ones, rip sir,” Srinu Vaitla said.
“Veteran Film Actor, Writer, Journalist, Director, Producer Sri #RaaviKondalaRao garu is no more. My deepest condolence to his Family & closed one's #RIPRaaviKondalaRao,” Rajeev Kanakala said. “The many contributions of Kondala Rao garu to the film industry will always be remembered. His death is an irreparable loss. As a cine writer and an actor, he rendered yeoman services. As a scribe, his contributions to cine journalism were stellar. He documented a number of momentous developments in the film industry,” Pawan wrote.
