Sonu Sood Offers Job To Hyderabad Techie Who Was Selling Vegetables After Being Laid Off From MNC
A 26-year-old woman who lost her job in Hyderabad has been selling vegetables to make earning. A report by CNBC TV18 showed that at least 86% of Indians fear that they will lose their jobs during the pandemic.
Unadadi Sharada from Hyderabad was working in an MNC and she lost her job during the Covid-19 crisis. Instead of losing hope amid an extreme financial crisis - she started selling vegetables at the local market. Sharada said that there is no shame in selling vegetables since this is an honest day's work.
Sharada's story soon went viral on social media and reached to Sonu Sood. He has been going out of his way to help migrant workers and anyone who needs it during the pandemic.
A Twitter user named Ritchie Shelson had tagged Soon, asking him to help the techie. Sood responded saying he had already reached out to her, interviewed her, and offered her a job.
"Dear Sonu Sood sir, she is Sharada, a techie who recently got fired from @VirtusaCorp Hyd amid covid crisis. Without giving up, she's selling vegetables to support her family and surviving. Please see if you could support her in any way. Hope you'll revert sir (sic)," the tweet read.
The tweet caught the Simmba actor's attention and he acted promptly to help the woman. He asked his team to get in touch with Sharada and interview her for a job. In his response, the actor revealed that an offer letter has been sent to Sharada. Netizens were immensely impressed with the actor's prompt action and kind gesture.
