Sequel Of Drushyam In Pipeline
Venkatesh Daggubati's super hit film Drushyam, helmed by Sripriya and jointly bankrolled by Daggubati Suresh Babu and Rajkumar Sethupathi, was released in 2014 and collected pretty good at the box office. Drushyam was an official remake of Malayalam star Mohanlal’s blockbuster thriller drama, Drishyam.
It was the first Malayalam movie to cross over Rs 50 Crore collection. This film was remade in several Indian languages. Now as per the latest update, director Jeethu Joseph is coming up with the sequel of Drishyam and he has also confirmed that the sequel also will have Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. Apart from them, several new characters will be included in the sequel.
While director and Mohanlal are currently working for an upcoming action thriller drama in which Trisha Krishnan is essaying the female lead role. The film Ram which is bankrolled by Abhishek Films and Passion Studios was officially launched in last December. The makers had started the shoot of the film and also released the poster of the film. Recently it was heard that Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal have decided to put the film Ram on hold. As per the reports Drishyam sequel will go onto the floors as soon as Kerala government allows the permission for shootings.
