Rana Daggubati Wraps Up For Adavi Ramudu
Rana Daggubati has finished with the long shoot of his upcoming film, a rumored remake of the Hindi classic Haathi Mere Saathi. This Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi trilingual is directed by critically acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Prabhu Solomon.
According to the sources, Rana will be seen as an environmental activist in the movie with a thick, long beard and a heavy makeover. The major part of the shoot took place in Kerala and Thailand and the movie will hit the screens in the summer of 2020.
The movie, highlighting man-animal relationship, is a story inspired by true events and a tribute to 1971 classic film "Haathi Mere Saathi" -- starring Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja. Haathi Mere Saathi is bankrolled by Inder Singh Bariya, Omshankar Bhagat, Ajay Rai and Sushil Tirwadkar under the banner Trinity Pictures. Shantanu Moitra is the music composer for this film and sound designing is done by the Oscar-winning sound engineer, Resul Pookutty.
Besides this film, he will soon be making his debut in Mollywood with the historical Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma: The King of Travancore.
