RRR Digital And Satellite Rights Sold At Whooping Rs 200 Cr
SS Rajamouli has a huge fan base across India and even internationally. Everyone is super excited for his next directorial venture RRR featuring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt.
The shooting of the movie was stalled due to the pandemic and resumed a few days ago. The director Rajamouli has revealed that the RRR is a fictitious story, which is based on 2 freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, the freedom fighters from AP and Telangana.
If latest buzz in media and the film industry are to be believed, the satellite and digital rights of RRR have been sold out to Rs 200 crores
Disney+ Hotstar grabbed the digital rights whereas Star acquitted the satellite rights of the movie RRR. Further, the source also cleared that RRR will first release in theatres then to digital release.
RRR is being produced at an estimated budget of Rs 400 crore, is slated to release simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and 6 other Indian languages next year.
Bankrolled by DVV Danayya, the movie has Irish lady Olivia Morris and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as female leads.
Rajamouli resume RRR shoot last week and the team wrapped the “Ramaraju For Komaram Bheem,” teaser shoot. Alia Bhatt will join the sets from November month.
