RGV’s Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu In Court!
Director Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu’ was supposed to release on 29th November, but much to his shock, the film has run into another censor issue. Recently, RGV said that they have changed the title to Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu from ‘Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu’ because of censor issues. And now, the censor board has given another shock to RGV by rejecting his film. The censor board members have watched the film on Saturday and raised objections over the content of the movie.
They opined that the characters in the film are insulting real-life personalities. So, to avoid unnecessary controversies, the censor board has declined to issue the censor certificate to the movie. Shocked with the board’s decision, RGV and producers of the film have appealed for the revival committee. Praja Shanthi Party chief KA Paul and others have filed a petition against the film in the High Court.
The court ordered makers to change the title and submit complete details of the film. So, with no option left, RGV has postponed the film and he can’t fix the release date until they solve all these issues. Earlier, his previous film ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ had also faced a lot of issues and finally released after a long time. But the film still failed to impress the audience. This time, the teaser and trailer of Amma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Biddalu have gained a good response and the song ‘Pappu Lanti Abbai’ has also got great feedback from the viewers. Let’s see if the film gets released and gives a hit to RGV.
