Jagan Government Big Shock To RRR Makers And Distributers
As informed earlier many theaters in AP are being closed due to the decisions taken by the incumbent Jagan government in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The AP government is denying permission for benefit shows as well as not permitting additional shows. However, with a big budget of Rs 500 crore, many felt that the RRR movie could be an exception. With the emphasis on patriotism in this movie, the AP government It has been rumored that the movie may be tax deductible.
However, the minister Nani said that there were no exceptions in the AP for the RRR movie as well. He mentioned that the theaters that do not follow the rules are being closed down in the AP and revealed the name of RRR producer Danayya who phoned him. Nani said he would put before the committee what the movie maker had told him.
He commented that he did not have an answer about the fact that Megastar was trying to meet Jagan. Nani said the rules that the government does not change according to a person, they are the same for all and that there is no discrimination with the government. He also said that the previous government had given tax exemptions to Balayya movie but not to Chiranjeevi movies.
Nani said that the rules for film will not change and the name of the AP minister should be said to have given a big shock to the RRR movie. It remains to be seen whether profits will accrue to the distributors who bought the RRR movie rights for a sum.
