Kangana Ranaut Shares Powerful Message for Women on Self-Acceptance
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently shared an inspiring message encouraging women to embrace their true selves. Reflecting on her early years in the industry, she posted a video from the music launch of her second film, Woh Lamhe, and revealed her struggles with low self-esteem and dissatisfaction with her appearance as a teenager.
Taking to social media, Kangana wrote, "As a young woman, I hated everything about my appearance. It's common for young women to feel uncertain about their looks." She emphasized the importance of appreciating one's beauty at every stage of life, reminding women that "today is the youngest you will ever be." Kangana urged her followers to be kind to themselves and trust in their own beauty, even if they can't see it in the mirror.
Kangana made her acting debut with Gangster and is now gearing up for her second directorial film, Emergency, where she portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film, set in the 1970s, focuses on the controversial period of emergency in India and features a star-studded cast. Emergency is expected to release soon after delays related to certification.
This is a video from my second film Woh Lamhe music launch, I was just a teenager and like every young woman I hated everything about my appearance, no young woman thinks she is attractive or beautiful, probably that also makes them more vulnerable, innocent and approachable,… pic.twitter.com/5XOq7jwM6Q
