How 'Ala Vaikunthapuramloo’ Saved Allu Arjun’s Career
It’s like setting a precedent in the Tollywood Film Industry when Geetha Arts decide to celebrate the reunion event for completing one year of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramloo’.
The event is full of fond remembrances of the team and sharing their experiences. At the event, Allu Arjun said, “Everyone did the movie with love and I’m the most benefited.”
It is True. The way he analyzed his condition before the movie’s release and his current position gave us a glimpse of what would have happened if ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramloo’ had missed the Sankranthi slot, last year and waited for the Summer release.
Before this movie, Allu Arjun took a gap of over a year and a half after ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ that was a huge disappointment. If ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramloo’ hadn’t come to theatres for the last Sankranthi, COVID-19 would have pushed it for another year. Imagine what that kind of gap would have done to the stardom of our stylish star Allu Arjun who had a big flop before this blockbuster. The movie would have still been in cans. Unimaginable for the stylish star’s fans.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun will be seen in the flick Pushpa alongside Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Allu Arjun will be playing the role of a smuggler. The movie also stars Jagapathi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Prakash Raj, and Anish Kuruvilla in crucial roles. The movie is helmed by Sukumar and financed by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili under their banner Mythri Movie Makers.
