Filmmaker Makes Shocking Comments
Daniel Shravan, a self-proclaimed filmmaker, has said that women must "co-operate with rapists and carry condoms". Daniel Shravan's comment comes after the brutal rape and murder of a veterinary doctor in Hyderabad last week. After he was trolled for this misbehavior, he deleted his post and said that it was a part of the dialogue of his film and he didn’t intend to hurt anyone's feelings.
In a now-deleted post, he wrote: “Murder is a sin and a crime. Rape is a corrective punishment. No justice is going to happen with Nirbhaya Act or Priyanka Act. The agenda of rape is fulfilling the sexual needs of rapists based on that time or mood.”
Shravan was not the only one. Several people on social media seem to have similar views. A Facebook user by the name of 'Supreme Star' said that every time he had been attacked by women rapists, he did not "scream or shout", instead he cooperated with the women rapists and in return was left alive.
On the other hand, some people are fighting for the rights of these rape victims. Protests are going on in various states demanding the death penalty for these rapists within six months of the conviction.
