Big B Tested -Ve For Virus And Discharged From The Hospital
Bollywood Actor Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. He was being treated for COVID-19, after a 23-day stay on today. The 77-year-old actor announced on July 11 that he had tested +ve for the COVID-19 and was in the hospital.
Big B is now in solitary quarantine at his home - Jalsa - whereas Abhishek is still in the hospital for COVID treatment. In his latest tweet, Amitabh Bachchan wrote: "I have tested COVID-19 negative, have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. The grace of the almighty, blessings of Ma, Babuji, prayers, and duas of near and dear and friends, fans EF... and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day."
Minutes before Amitabh Bachchan shared his health update, Abhishek announced the news about his father's negative reports on Twitter and in a separate tweet, shared that he has again tested +ve for the COVID-19 and he will remain in the hospital till he gets recovered.
Amitabh Bachchan, fondly known as Big B, is the star of beloved movies such as Sholay, Deewar and Amar Akbar Anthony. He was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo that was the first major Bollywood production to stream on an OTT platform instead of releasing in theatres.
