Allu Arjun On The Hindi Film Remake
Stylish Star Allu Arjun is busy celebrating the success of his recently released film, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo, released yesterday. The film has received a positive response from the audiences. A few days ago, as a part of promotional activities, Bunny interacted with media and spoke about the Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster film, Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety.
Previously, there was a strong buzz in the industry that Allu Arjun will act in the Telugu remake of the Hindi blockbuster, in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. But later, finally, they decided to work on the plot of Ala Vaikunthapuramulo.
When the actor was asked whether he was approached to play the lead role in the remake, he said, "Yes, we wanted to remake Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety under Geetha Arts and people assumed that I would be playing the lead role in it. But that isn’t true. Trivikram and I discussed it, but later we decided to go ahead with our own script."
Allu Arjun is one of the Tollywood actors who have never acted in a remake project till now. His films have fresh stories and concepts.
Ala Vaikunthapuramulo has opened to an earth-shattering response at the worldwide box office on the first day itself. The film has made a better collection than Sarileru Neekevvaru in many regions across the globe. As per early estimates, Ala Vaikunthapuramulo has collected nearly Rs 55 crore gross at the worldwide box office on its first day.
