Telangana Government To Set Up Fast Track Court In Disha Case
The State government on Wednesday permitted to constitute a designated fast track court for the speedy clearance of Disha Rape and Murder case. The Law Department of Telangana state has issued a government order designating the first additional district and sessions Judge in Mahbubnagar district as a special court for the speedy trial of the horrible crime which had attracted nationwide attention.
Meanwhile, a local court in Mahbubnagar has ordered seven-day police custody of the four accused who are allegedly involved in the crime. The Government, after cautiously examining the suggestion from the registrar general of Telangana state High Court, requested the registrar-general to take the necessary action as soon as possible.
The police arrested four alleged accused in rape and murder of the 27-year-old veterinary assistant surgeon. The CM of Telangana state, K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the concerned authorities to deal with the case in a suitable manner. The suspects are detained at the Cherlapally Central Jail under tight security.
