Telangana Extends Lockdown Till June 30 In Containment Zones
The Telangana government on Sunday extended the lockdown in containment zones till June 30 as of May 30 marks its end and unlock 1.0 commence from June 1.
However, some of the relaxations are given to areas in non-containment zones which included to open all shops in Telangana will only till 8 pm followed by a curfew from 9 pm to 5 am every day.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao discussed extending the lockdown in a meeting with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and the Director-General of Police P Mahender Reddy and other senior officials.
Also, no restrictions have been imposed on the inter-State movement of people. People can travel to and from different states without any special permission or e-pass.
Meanwhile, No shops/establishments, except hospitals and pharmacies, will remain open after 8 PM. Taxis, autos and other passenger vehicles were also allowed to run services.
