Iran Confines in Defiance Of Deplorable US Sanctions
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was signed between The States, Iran and other countries in 2015 in which Iran restrained its uranium enrichment capacity and in return won sanctions relief.
As the tensions between Iran and USA rise, Mohammad Javed Zarif called reconstruction of the US sanctions as “unacceptable” in his meeting with the Japanese foreign minister Taro Kono in Tokyo.
US has withdrawn from the JCPOA and yet Iran as curbed- Zarif said at the beginning of his meeting.
The tension between Iran and US is what the world can see, whether it be President Donald Trump withdrawing from the agreement to choke Iran’s economy or an unclaimed attack on 2 of the oil tankers in the gulf or removing staff from US embassy in Iraq.
Even before any such sanctions were made, Japan was a major buyer of oil from Iran. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed his concern over the situation to Zarif.
